helped me with the text:
The new Disney movie inspired by the novels of L. Frank Baum, where we see the origins of the Wizard OZ here called Oscar Diggs, a young magician illusionist of a small traveling circus, during a stop in Kansas the magician into a balloon is catapulted into the world of OZ, the magician is believed to be a powerful wizard of an ancient prophecy that aims to kill the wicked witch and free OZ, but it is not all gold that glitters, and we must not fall to first appearances.
The plot is faithful to the spirit of the book and the characters are well characterized, the protagonist shows his nature as an impostor but basically he has a good heart as he's concerned with the neighbor and the destiny of the world, there are several twists that I'll not tell but for sure you will be amazed, and the story tells how events took place before the famous "Wizard of Oz" that we all know.
There are several references to the characters of cowardly Lion, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow or even Dorothy, if you know well and are passionate about the world of Oz you will also notice them.
Unfortunately there has never been a book written by Baum that said the arrival of the Wizard in Oz, but fortunately this film juggles well between the famous musical of the Metro Goldwyn Mayer to the Baum books without distorting both of them too much.
